A convenient location by the highway, this hotel is a good base to explore the Gouda area. the hotel offers clean and spacious rooms with a bathtub and shower. Staff members, especially Tamara and the young man at checkout, are helpful and friendly. the restaurant and breakfast buffet are decent, with a nice view by the river and close proximity to a McDonald's restaurant for other options.
Some wait staff in the restaurant reportedly racially profiled a guest, as mentioned in a previous review.

I recently had a very nice stay at a hotel near a major highway junction. This hotel offered excellent value for money, with clean and comfortable rooms. I was pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail, including memory foam gel beds that were undoubtedly the most comfortable I've ever experienced in a hotel. The modern and clean room layout added to the overall comfort of my stay. The hotel's location was perfect for making day trips to various nearby attractions, and the staff were courteous and helpful. The included breakfast was a great addition, with a good assortment of breads, fruit, cheese, and cold meats. I would definitely book here again if I were to make a similar trip.
All was ok.

Helpful staff and a good location if you have a car.
This hotel is terribly outdated and needs complete renovation. Rooms are old and smelly, the bathrooms flood when you use the shower, the beds are rockhard and the bed linen felt like it had been washed 200 times. Not exactly what you expect if you pay 95 EUR a night. Unfortunately there is not much competition around this area, which is probably why the hotel is getting away with providing such poor facilities.

Renovated rooms with modern lay-out and en suite bathrooms provide a comfortable stay. The highlight was the renowned cheese plates served at La Place, locally produced and of Gouda quality. It was like experiencing a symphony of flavors that danced on my taste buds, leaving me wanting more.
Checking-in mistake made by staff.
